This year, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, we are proud to announce the inaugural HoÊ»ike, a morning performance modeled after Creighton University’s Annual Lūʻau. Inspired by the growing interest in our Lūʻau, HoÊ»ike was created to expand access and offer our community an additional opportunity to engage with Hawaiian culture through education, storytelling, and celebration.
Rooted in the theme Ka Huakaʻi ʻO Kuʻu Home, the program weaves together song, dance, and narration to share the history and significance of Native Hawaiian voyaging. Through this performance, we honor the wisdom of our ancestors and their profound connection to the land and ocean.
Please note that HoÊ»ike is a performance-only event and will not feature a meal or the haka. Guests looking for a fully immersive experience–including food and our complete program—are invited to purchase tickets to our Annual Lūʻau, taking place later that evening.
We warmly invite you to join us for our first-ever Annual Hoʻike.
E Komo Mai!
